Gary has lived in the Bridgwater area most of his life. He’s currently a teacher at a nearby village school.
Gary is standing for election because he’s appalled by the huge cutbacks the Conservatives are making to vital public services.
He’s witnessed first-hand how Tory policies have devastated the education sector, impacting children with special educational needs especially severely.
As a councillor, Gary would continue to fight against disastrous funding cuts in rural areas, which are worsening issues like fly-tipping, the lack of public transport, and the shortage of affordable housing.
Gary isn’t afraid to stand up and represent the views of local people, and hopes you’ll consider a vote for the many, not the few.
